Nooworks is a San Francisco-based retail and gallery space specializing in women’s fashion. They initially came to me with a request to brand the company and their flagship store. They needed to define their brand with the look and feel of a established apparel company that focuses on collaboration with artists and designers. I developed a custom bi-form typeface with permission from pprwrk studio using Quatro. Using the custom typeface to create their logotype, I further integrated a type based pattern, hand painted signage and color to express Nooworks' vibrant brand in a cohesive brand tool kit which includes: everyday business needs, product packaging and in-store design. After doing so, it was clear they needed a stronger web presence that included both e-commerce and blog platforms. We opted to combine a custom secure e-commerce CMS, which supports the store and payment gateway, along with a custom blog platform, which supports blog functionality and static content. The client can easily manage inventory, products, and other content, while the styling is supported by reliable coding to ensure a seamless user experience.

Key Web Features Include: ipad and iphone compatibility, seamless customizable homepage carousel and links to both the e-commerce and blog platforms, with hierarchical menus for both the store and blog.
